I’ve had a wonderful experience purchasing open-ended toys from Bueno Blocks since last year. Each time, they’ve been incredibly helpful — always offering thoughtful explanations when I struggled to choose, and consistently sincere in responding to my enquiries.
This time, I added the Grimm’s Large Stepped Pyramid to our collection, and I’m so glad I did! My 19-month-old toddler absolutely enjoys playing with it. She especially loves arranging her Ostheimer animal figures on the blocks — it’s such a joy to watch her imagination unfold.
The vibrant colours of each block are so appealing, even I find myself drawn to arranging them. It’s a toy that truly inspires creativity, not just for little ones but for adults too!
Seriously much easier to stack for 2yr old than our previous Hape blocks which had a too smooth varnish. My son is able to build more with less frustration. Surely do have a grippy finishing, and safe, no worry of choking hazard. Also does have a lovely woody smell and vibrant rainbow colours. My son is now able to incorporate block play with his other toy elements. So great! 😊

Truly a good quality and beautiful open ended toy. Love how the blocks are mathematically proportional, having grippy surfaces to allow stacking and the building possibilities are endless. We’ve built a greenhouse, farm, set up booth stalls and etc!! Meanwhile, the service and shipping arrangement from the Bueno Blocks team are very efficient!
My son is really excited to play with it and have endless open play with him ever since i bought it. It can be aquarium, track, house, dinosaur hide-out etc. Really happy with the product!
The blocks were fun to play with. However, no 5 star review because some of the blocks were stubbornly stuck together.
my son loves to count from 1 to 10 now. the blocks are a great way to learn more about numbers.
Somehow the little one likes picking up block from the display and walks around even to bath!
I'm new to Grimm's wooden toys so I decided to get a large set for my 2yo for a start. I was skeptical of its hefty price tag for such basic toy but it turned out to be so worth it! The quality of the wood, the vibrancy of the colors and I just love the tactile feel of the wood! There are just so many building possibilities and as for now my LO use it daily for imaginative play. She is also into destructive play where she like to stack up the blocks and knock them down lol, but with its sturdy quality and since Grimm's toys are color stained I really don't have to worry about chipping of paint. I'm hooked! Just ordered 2 more sets and I am already looking forward on the new ways that LO can play with it! <3
An amazing addition to any collection (or a perfect set to start with!) This set is massive, which makes the possibilities endless. Also perfect for any age.
