PLUS PLUS

PLUS PLUS is a Danish-designed building toy made from one repeating waffle-shaped piece that clicks together from any angle.

Pieces connect edge to edge or stack on top of each other, so a build can stay flat like a mosaic or grow into a freestanding 3D shape. The same simple click works whether a child is building for the first time or putting together something intricate, and there's genuinely no wrong way to do it.

The single repeating shape is deliberate. Rather than a toy that comes packaged with a lesson plan, Plus-Plus leaves the direction entirely up to the child, which is exactly the kind of self-led play that builds fine motor skills, focus, patience and problem-solving without anyone needing to prompt for it. It's a philosophy that lines up with how we think about play at Bueno Blocks, where a toy earns its place by leaving room for a child to make it their own.

Safety isn't an afterthought either. Every Plus-Plus piece is tested against the EU's EN 71 toy safety standards and REACh chemical regulations by independent labs, not just in-house, and the material is free from phthalates, PVC and BPA. It's even approved for food contact, which says something about how seriously the material itself is vetted.

The pieces are made from a tough, flexible plastic from the same family used in reusable bottles, with baseplates and wheels in a sturdier building-brick-grade plastic. Everything is manufactured in Plus-Plus's own factory in Holbæk, Denmark, which runs on wind power, and every piece is fully recyclable at the end of its life.
