Lucky Lucky is a sealed surprise box. Inside is one of 15 different sets: a small handful of handmade wooden Grapat pieces, gathered around a theme.

But here's the thing: the box comes stapled shut. You can shake it, weigh it in your hand, guess out loud. You won't know which of the 15 you've got until you open it.

For a child, that moment of opening is the whole event.

The not-knowing, the wondering, the small gasp when the lid comes off.

It's the same joy as a blind box or a surprise egg, except what's inside isn't plastic destined for the bin. It's a set of beautiful wooden pieces that becomes part of their play, their collection, their world.

Each box works completely on its own: A self-contained little cast of characters ready for storytelling and small world play.

But it also folds into everything else: pieces from one box mix effortlessly with another, your child's other Grapat sets, and whatever else is on the play shelf. Collect a few and they start talking to each other.

And because there are 15 to find, Lucky Lucky naturally becomes something children do together. Comparing, swapping duplicates, trading for the one they've been hoping for. A little booklet inside shows the full collection, so they can see what else is out there and dream about which comes next.

• It's a genuine surprise. Boxes are chosen at random and sealed. You might get duplicates if you buy several — that's part of the collecting and trading fun, not a fault.
• Because of this, Lucky Lucky is non-returnable and non-exchangeable. You get the one you get.
• Makes a lovely small gift, stocking filler, or something to tuck into a bag for a long journey.

Handmade in Spain from sustainably sourced beech and birch wood, finished with water-based, non-toxic dyes. Each piece is hand-painted, and colours and wood grain vary naturally from piece to piece. All packaging is 100% plastic-free.

Care: Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Don't submerge in water or use disinfectant.
